The Three C,s Of Internet Business( The Complaint, The Cause, The Correction ) .Let us start with The complaint ! I would like to start by saying this series of articles are not meant to slander or harm any other business in any way! This is our way of trying to help educate people to not make the same mistakes I have when starting out.(My Story) I Started about a year ago with my own web site . I had planned to as they said Get Started right away ! Make Money overnight ! Every thing you need to start your own internet business just CLICK HERE ! Does that sound familiar to you? Well like most new comers I went for it, Of course once I clicked on the add I was offered many choices above the $29.95 offer as was advertised. Being I had been researching for a while I truly thought You Get What You Pay For ! So I of course opted for the premium package which cost me approx. $299.00 Plus Tax. After all I wanted to be a contender out there in the big world of Internet business so I knew I had to start out right by only purchasing the best ! I had decided at that time that drop shipping products was the way to go for me . The package I had purchased offered me ! A web site complete with everything I needed to know to get started ! Step by step instructions ,Videos, Online Support,To many resources to list! Plus one of the Worlds largest drop shippers integrated right into my site with over 1.2 million products available . I WAS JAZZED ! I COULDN’T WAIT TO GET STARTED !That very evening after signing up I received both E mails & phone regarding how did I want my business to be set up ? As a sole Proprietorship? Or a corporation ? I was not sure, But after them giving me a brief explanation of the two I decided to go with a corporation. After all this thing was going to be huge right ! After deciding that they ask did i have an attorney or someone that would draw up my incorporation papers ? Uhhh No ! I said in return. Then would you believe they had a company that since I was now one of their members they could do this for me for a one time $ 100.00 fee ! Me being as smart as I am know a deal when I hear it Attorneys are expensive and I wanted my business to be set up right from the gate !So I went for that one to! After giving this other company a whole lot of information . All I had to do was wait ! My articles of incorporation would be drawn up and sent to me shortly(Took about a week )After about two days I still had no website ? So I called who I originally had signed up with . They proceeded to tell me yes my account was all set up and waiting for me to proceed . Well alrighty then that is what I wanted to hear ! They then gave me another phone number of another company that they were set up with that did their hosting & support ! After agreeing to pay them $ 39.99 per month for support I was finally ready to start ! Well not quite ! The support company ask Do you have a domain name you would like this account to be linked to ? Again I said Uhhh No ! After a brief explanation that they did not sell domains and i had to get one and get back to them with the information so they could set me up properly. I was off on another adventure !(To find a domain for my new web site ) So following advice I went to Go Daddy .comafter talking with them for a while & the fact that this $29.95 get started overnight deal was really starting to cost me much more than I had planed I purchased fortunesaver.co ! I didn’t want to go cheep but I did need to start watching what I was spending I am unemployed & my savings is dwindling fast! So that cost me $23.95 per. year . Now I am finally ready to get going ! Well not quite ! Go Daddy .com . Then informed me I had to register my domain and that would cost me another $8.95 per yer ! So realizing that this had to be done ! I again said Uhhh OK ! Finally I am ready to get started ! Well I was started but by no means finished ! I am up to approx 750 words and haven’t even began to tell you what I have been through in the last year! So I think I have said enough to paint you a little picture of what has been going on . I will be following up with what I believe to be (THE CAUSE) . Sometimes it's easy to overlook our country's glory. For the second year running, we present 100 outstanding things about the U.S.A.

FORTUNE -- Though our affection for America is a year-round phenomenon, summer seems to make the heart and mind grow even fonder. Holidays contribute to this: Memorial Day ushers in the season, followed soon after by our Uncle Sam's favorite, July Fourth. Getting out into the great outdoors also kindles nation-love, as only a visit to national parks like Yellowstone or the Great Smoky Mountains can do. So, too, does the food of summer: grilled hot dogs and hamburgers, corn on the cob, and blueberry pie on a brimming picnic table. So we think it only fitting to present to you our second annual list of 100 Great Things About America right as we head into the summer solstice.
The list reflects our sensibility here at Fortune. Yes, it's heavy on business (see Warren Buffett, No. 30, and even Exxon Mobil (XOM), at No. 88), but it also includes NASCAR, No. 51, as well as Carlos Santana and Pappy Van Winkle Bourbon, sitting next to each other at 19 and 20. We have a soft spot for fast cars, virtuoso guitar players, and a nip of fine bourbon, among other indulgences, but many of these manifestations of Americana happen to be shining commercial success stories too. (Did you know that Santana recently opened a chain of Mexican restaurants named Maria Maria and has his own line of women's shoes?)
Why only 100 great things, you might ask? Of course there are many more than that, which is why we decided that this year's list wouldn't include any from last year's tally. That's why you won't see Mount Rushmore (last year's No 4). We're also not including any deceased persons, so, much as we love them, no Abe Lincoln, M.L.K., or Joe DiMaggio (or maybe Ted Williams for Red Sox Nation). Actually, I think we should do the list for eight more years so we end up with a mega-list of 1,000 Great Things About America. I don't imagine we'll have any problem finding that many, do you?
This exercise may seem to fly right in the teeth of the national zeitgeist, as there's more concern than celebration about America right now. All the more reason for doing it, I say. Yes, we face unprecedented challenges, but focusing solely on those vexing issues is not only misdirected but actually dangerous. And the optimists' case isn't just pie in the sky. In his new book, The Next American Economy: Blueprint for a Real Recovery, author William J. Holstein shows that made in america is still very much alive. He points out that many U.S. companies, like Caterpillar (CAT) (No. 13) and Boeing (BA) (its 747 is No. 29), have done a remarkable job navigating through, and succeeding in, the new global economy. He cites cities like San Diego for genomics, Pittsburgh for robotics, and Cleveland for electronics as hubs of world-class innovation. And he points out that higher wages mean China no longer offers a wide cost advantage for manufacturers.
To be sure, Holstein writes, we need a better model for cooperation among business, academia, and government, but we are far from a gloom-and-doom starting point. As Alexis de Tocqueville wrote in Democracy in America, "The greatness of America lies not in being more enlightened than any other nation, but rather in her ability to repair her faults." We will surely be putting that to the test in the coming years. But for now, please take time to celebrate some of our greatness and think about how each of these entries contributes to the tangible and intangible success and well-being of America.

As I sit down to collect my thoughts and try to write something that I believe will be both inspiring and uplifting, I can’t help but escape the feeling that that’s not what my focus needs to be. If my focus is solely to create a “feel good,” instead of the “know how to,” I run the risk of being lost in translation twice over.

Either way, I still run the risk of creating two extremes. All heart and no head, or all head and no heart. With these things being said, it’s my honest hope and prayer to bring the two together in this short venture… WISH ME LUCK!!!

Needless to say, we live in the midst of trying times within this country of ours, and as a nation we find ourselves being tested on many fronts. It’s almost impossible for us to not join in on the finger pointing, or the latest seek and destroy mission in search of the “culprit” for all of our current American woes! Unfortunately, a lot of us have resorted to fault finding, but what good does it do to solely present problems in the absence of well intentioned solutions? It doesn’t do any good! I know, because I’ve tried!!

So, here I sit with the rather difficult task of doing what I can to try and stymie the confusion that’s so prevalent today. In a way that calls for writers to be more surgical than literary; as we face a society that’s stuck in a full fledged battle of extremes, and the media seems to be perfectly content with fanning the flames.

The Two Extremes… currently “trending” amongst us, is the idea that America needs change more than anything else, and the belief that the best form of Government is no government at all. While one group wants to redefine freedom, the other wants to make it impossible uphold it!

It’s my firm belief that both views are nothing more than extremes that have been repeated through every age and stage of humanities existence, and neither position has ever worked! It seems logical to me that what we need is to revisit the beauty of what was originally handed down through the ages by our American forefathers.

Many of us blindly assert that America is solely a dream that is merely pursued by us citizens, but I’m here to say that it was once a reality that didn’t need a dream to support it. The American dream was once a reality! It wasn’t something that needed to be pursued while living within these borders, but rather, a living reality!! What was that reality? It was freedom to choose what you wanted to do with your life. Freedom to pursue the happiness that made you personally happy. Freedom to worship your God freely. Many of us think that the American Dream resides within the thrill of the chase, but the American Dream resides within the freedom that makes that chase even possible!

As long as we continue to pursue the Dream without preserving its provisional freedoms we will lose them both!!!

Within the book The 5000 Year Leap (Principles of Freedom 101), by W. Cleon Skousen, of the National Center for Constitutional Studies, he says:

“Of recent I have often wondered what Franklin would say if asked whether our present Republic was in ascendency or decline? Certainly Benjamin Franklin’s observation at that time was valid… however, I believe if we could ask him what he would say today, I believe he would say, “It represents a setting sun!” Why? There are many reasons, namely

1. We have not followed the admonition of our founding fathers.

“A people must from time to time, refresh themselves at the well-spring of their origin, lest they perish.”

2. We have not assigned the maintaining of our freedom a high priority.

“A frequent recurrence to the fundamental principles of our constitution, and a constant adherence to those of piety, justice, moderation, temperance, industry, and frugality are absolutely necessary to preserve the advantage of liberty, and to maintain a free government.” (Massachusetts Bill of Rights, 1780)

3. We have allowed the mortal enemies of freedom to dominate the debate.

“Though, when a people shall have become incapable of governing themselves and fit for a master, it is of little consequence from what quarter he comes.” (G. Washington, Letter to Lafayette, 1788)

4. We have elected some of the most undesirable persons to high office.

“Effective resistance to usurpers is possible only provided the citizens understand their rights and are disposed to defend them.” (The Federalist, No. 28, Alexander Hamilton)

5. We have evicted “Providence” from our counsels, schools, courts, and assemblies.

“From the day of the Declaration… they (the American people) were bound by the laws of God, which they all, and by the laws of the gospel, which they nearly all acknowledged as the rulers of their conduct.” (John Quincy Adams, Secretary of State, Oration celebrating July 4^th, 1821)

Unfortunately, as a Country, we no longer look to the principles of our Constitution as something worthy to defend. Many people look at our Constitution and its principles as something obscure, extreme, and even outdated. But this couldn’t be further from the truth, because its principles find root in the natural laws that govern us all as created beings… but even this is something largely contested today!

Our founders constructed our Republic based off of the unalienable rights we no longer feel we need, because we are quickly becoming a secular nation who no longer sees a need for the God that created us with these rights in mind. Unfortunately, this will only prove to be the demise of this once so prosperous and bountiful nation of ours, but as an American I will continue to do the American thing, and reserve the hope that we can still turn this thing around.

I Still Have Hope !!!

Is it possible to live the American Dream ? I think we all have had ides and dreams that we have wanted to fulfill in our lives. So we watch and seek whatever looks or sounds like it could help us achieve whatever it is we may be looking for !Unfortunately this day and time a large majority of the ads we see especially on the web. or on info. commercials are scams ! I am attempting to open an honest no bull store on the internet.You would not believe the amount of help I have been offered for free ! HA! HA HA ! I will admit some of the offers sound really good , some even to good to be true ! I have also fallen for a few ! Six months later I am still working on perfecting my website. In my opinion anyone who tells you Buy Our Plan And Start Making Overnight ! I recommend you RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN!! The only people who are going to make any money are the ones selling you their plan .I am still a die hard so for me failure is not an option. I don’t know about you, but I’m pretty sure that I’m not the only one who has done this. So, there you are driving down the freeway, happy thoughts racing through your mind, completely carefree. Overall, you are just genuinely excited and anxious to get to where you are going. Your cruising along the music is on and you are just feelin’ it! Then fear grips you when you start to recognize that the scenery around you is not as familiar as you would like it to be, and in the midst of your euphoric stupor you wound up driving a good 3 miles passed the exit that you were supposed to take in order to get to where you were going. Does this sound familiar? I thought it would!

It’s easy for us to get so caught up in making it to where we are going that we fail to see key signs along the way. Any task that we may have is accomplished easier when we break it up into smaller tasks. This prevents us from getting overwhelmed by all that has to be done, and just focus on the things we can do today in order to get to where we want to be. Look at those things that need to be done today as road markers along a long journey. There may be times that you have to adjust and take a detour. There may be times that you experience car trouble. It’s necessary that you stop for gas, but the plan is to alleviate all of the unnecessary stopping along the way (or in my case… turning around completely!). To do all that we can to not make the mistake of seeing your successes in life as small destinations on your journey, but rather seeing success as the element that drives you in the first place. Letting success be the fuel that keeps things going on this journey we call life.

We like to think that we have to have everything figured out before we can make it happen, or that everything has to be perfect before we can take that first step, but this couldn't be further from the truth. In today's ever evolving, fast paced, high-tech world, the passive (not to be confused with passive income) approach is only a gateway we create to watch key opportunities to pass us by. This ultimately leads to people becoming nothing more than another shoulder for someone else to step on as they aggressively fight their way to the top. This is why we have to recognize that one of our best tutors in life is to just get out there and get in the mix. Gaining that first-hand knowledge most people spend most of their time trying to eliminate. No one makes it to the top by simply implementing proven strategies that helped someone else get to the top. Don’t get me wrong, implementation is important! But those who are at the top are innovators that busted their ass implementing the strategies we rely on today back before anyone else did. This is a realm that requires risk, and with risk one must be willing to experience whatever may come. Many people say that with age comes wisdom... this is completely false! I believe it’s more accurate to say that with experience comes wisdom. Age doesn't guarantee experience! How could this be true? Especially when it has been proven that the majority of people living today choose to live life defensively. This means that they choose to allow whatever circumstances their environment may create to dictate the way they live life from day to day. That’s not what will get us to the top though! We must be those who choose to live life intentionally. Those who aren’t just breathing... but those who are actually living! We must choose to play offense in this game we call life. We can’t just settle for having the bull by the horns, but we got to have it by the balls too! But this can only true of those who have the balls to dance with the bull in the first place.

Let's not be professional learners, but rather educated risk takers, because experience is indeed the best teacher for those who are willing to do what it takes to get to the top.

Busting the Bad Guys: Reporting Online Fraud

It takes a village to curb online fraud. Merchants, consumers, businesses, and law enforcement all need to work together to devise better methods for preventing fraud and catching, prosecuting, and punishing the criminals.
The second article in this series, "Protecting Yourself Against Online Fraud," provides tips for detecting and preventing fraudulent transactions. This article takes you one step closer to becoming a fraud buster, by showing you how and where to report suspected incidents of online fraud.
Note: If you or someone you know suspects that certain individuals are involved in committing online fraud, or if you feel that you have knowingly or unwittingly participated in a fraudulent online transaction, we urge you to contact the proper authorities immediately. Depending on where you live, you may need to contact your local police or your state's Attorney General.

Keeping records

To provide law enforcement agents with the information they need to thoroughly investigate alleged incidents of online fraud, keep any records associated with the suspect transactions, including the following items:

Email messages: Keep the actual messages on your computer. Most email messages include additional information that you may not see in a printout. By keeping the actual messages in your email program, you preserve all available data needed to track down the computer from which the email message originated.
Invoices or receipts: Save any invoices or receipts, which may contain valuable information in addition to providing you with written reminders of the transaction's history.
Phone conversations: A written record, including the dates, times, and names of the people you talked with are often sufficient for filing a complaint or disputing a claim.
Customer IP addresses: As an online merchant, you can capture the IP address of any computer from which an order originates. This address can help authorities track down the computer and possibly even the perpetrator. See the next section "Capturing your customers' IP addresses" for details.

Providing authorities with a paper trail helps to prove your case and shut the scammers down. Keep detailed records, and make sure everything has a date on it.

Capturing your customers' IP addresses

Every computer connected to the Internet has a unique IP address that identifies that computer. By capturing your customers' IP addresses when they visit your site, you can assist law enforcement in tracking down the computer from which a fraudulent order was placed. Simply capturing a customer's IP address and displaying it prominently on the customer's screen is often sufficient to deter would-be criminals.

Taking action: Reporting fraudulent transactions

In the event that you become a victim of fraud or suspect that one of your "customers" is attempting to commit fraud, take the necessary steps to report the incident:

Inform Doba's Fraud Department immediately. If quickly identified, Doba will work with our suppliers and shippers to prevent any items you ordered from reaching the fraudster. Doba's Fraud Department can be contacted directly by email at fraud@doba.com or call 877-321-DOBA between 7 am and 8 pm MST.
Report the incident to your transaction platform and payment processor. Ensuring that both your transaction platform—for example, eBay, Yahoo! Auctions, or Overstock.com and payment processor are aware of the situation greatly increases your chances of recovering lost or stolen funds and goes a long way in preventing the same fraudster from scamming other sellers:
Contact local and state law enforcement. Ensuring that the proper authorities are aware of your situation will assist in prosecutorial efforts. If you know where the fraudster lives, report the situation to his or her local and state law enforcement officials as well.
File a complaint with your state's office of the Attorney General. Making sure that your state Attorney General's office is aware of your situation may also assist in prosecutorial efforts that lead to shutting down the scam. File a complaint with the following government-supported agencies. Doing so aggregates multiple victims for prosecutorial efforts and aids in the effort to educate sellers about the latest trends in online fraud prevention:
- Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3)
- Federal Trade Commission (FTC)
- Better Business Bureau (BBB)
- National Fraud Information Center (NFIC)
- U.S. Department of Justice, Reporting Internet Crime
- FraudBureau.com

Tip: Cyber Criminals Most Wanted provides contact information for every state law enforcement cyber crime task force, as well as useful tips on reporting cyber crime.
Note: The official process of filing a complaint with the FBI starts with the Internet Crime Complaints Center (IC3). Filing a complaint with IC3 is the same as contacting the FBI directly!
